The author recounts his Gapanovich lineage, starting with his paternal great-grandfather, Ilya Tarasovich:
{
79} At the head of our family was our great-grandfather Ilya Tarasovich Gapanovich. He had two sons, Timothy and Tikhon, and four daughters.

Even in this short span of time, some names have been lost -- the given names of Ilya's daughters:
Their names, unfortunately, are not known. His sons had inherited plots of their father's land, as was the custom in those days. In other words, as his heirs, they were given land to keep their own farms, when they became adults and married.
And the daughters were given away to be married. As far as I know:
• One daughter was married into the Lozovsky family of Povitsky Street.
• The second daughter was married into the Krachko family also of Povitsky Street.
•
The third was married into the Kazakevitch family of Kobryn Street. It is known to me that this daughter had a daughter and two sons. Both sons were deaf.
•
The fourth daughter was married into the village of Ossa into a family by the name of Kulchinsky.
